Two firms promote health lawyers, Hall Render opens new office

Both Proskauer and Polsinelli recently announced promotions. At Polsinelli, six health attorneys are now shareholders, and Proskauer’s promotions include experienced life sciences patent counsel. Hall Render has opened a new office in Annapolis, Maryland, staffed by six health attorneys who have recently joined the firm.


The first of November brought good news for 11 Proskauer lawyers, with seven new partners and four senior counsel promotions. Colin Cabral of the Los Angeles office specializes in complex patent disputes, including life sciences intellectual property rights. Before practicing at Proskauer, Cabral served as in-house counsel for a global life sciences company.


Also on November 1, 2016, Polsinelli announced the promotion of 31 attorneys to shareholder. Of those, six are involved in the firm’s health care practice. New shareholders Jeremy Burnette and Amy McCullough are located in Atlanta, Asher Funk and Kyle Vasquez practice from Chicago, Kelly Schulz is located in Kansas City, and Rebecca Frigy Romine practices out of the St. Louis office.

Hall Render

Hall Render has opened a new office in Annapolis, Maryland. This office welcomes six new health attorneys with significant experience. Notably, Al Adelman, the former president of the American Health Lawyer’s Association (AHLA); Tim Adelman, who currently serves as an AHLA board member; and Lew Morris, former Chief Counsel to the HHS Office of Inspector General, have chosen to further their private practice careers in the new Hall Render location. Rounding out the new team are Ronald Sheff, J. Patrick Garcia, and Eric Crowder.
